Babette Wasserman, classically trained in fine jewellery at Central St Martins College of Art, has been creating collections of original jewels and cufflinks under her own label, as well as for a variety of other popular brands for twelve years. Winner of the UK Fashion Export Award 2007, Babette Wasserman is recognized by the fashion industry for progressive design and individual style. Her impressive global client list speaks volumes.
Babette works from her studio in London’s Notting Hill, designing exquisite jewels set entirely in sterling silver and cufflinks fashioned out of silver and base metal platinum/rhodium plated.
A never-ending desire to break technical boundaries and create the most aesthetic and stylish designs has attracted an ever-increasing loyal clientele. Babette Wasserman’s collections are highly distinctive and easily recognizable, including her most innovative ‘
reversible Saucer cufflink’ which have two front sides and are set with semi-precious stones or Swarovski crystals. The use of real volcanic lava stones, natural rosewood, fibre-optic glass and Japanese silk sets her collection apart and customers come back season after season in the secure knowledge that they will always find unusual and stunning, beautifully packaged gifts for themselves or others!
The popularity and grace of Babette’s work can be gleaned from the constant press coverage received worldwide, as seen in GQ, FHM, Elle, and Sunday Times, to name but a few.
Recently, our jewellery has adorned the manicured hands, wrists and necks of the rich and famous with celebrities such as Elle MacPherson, Sheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh (Girls Aloud pop group), Elton John and David Furnish, Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Ross sporting some of our newest jewellery or cufflinks designs.
